The Schaumburg A.M. Rotary Club Foundation – a nonprofit community service organization – will host its Souper Bowl of Soups Cook-Off soup tasting fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23 at Wintrust Field, 1999 South Springinsguth Road (suite level), in Schaumburg,
Participants will sample soups prepared by local restaurants and vote for their favorite soup with the Cook-Off champion being announced at the end of the event.
Featured soup tastings will be provided by Chicago Prime Italian, Moretti’s, Chandler’s, Inchin Bamboo Garden, PhoDay, Uncle Bill’s Diner, Chicago Marriott Schaumburg, Ambrosia Greek Eatery, El Mero Mero and more.
Parking is free and a cash bar will be available.
Cook-Off proceeds will address hunger and food insecurity, both locally and internationally, by supporting the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry and Feed My Starving Children organization, in addition to other areas of community need as determined by Schaumburg A.M. Rotary.
Event sponsors include Schaumburg Bank & Trust, Baird & Warner, Dan Matas/Key Mortgage and Pro Home 1 Inc., all located in Schaumburg.
Tickets are $20 for adults (ages 18 and older); $10 for children (ages 6-17); and free for children, ages 5 and younger. Walk-ins are welcome.
